Flexible Dual Power Options:
The BG-E13 accepts one or two Canon LP-E6 rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. With two batteries installed, your shooting time is effectively doubled. When one battery is drained, simply remove and recharge it while continuing to shoot with the second battery – zero downtime. For maximum field flexibility, the BG-E13 also includes a battery tray that holds six AA/LR6 batteries. It can additionally be powered by the optional ACK-E6 AC Adapter Kit for studio use.
